Full Meaning of Muddaththir
Muddaththir is a direct Quranic name for boys that means “clothed”, “enveloped in garments”, or “dressed” (in a particular way, “mudathir fi burdatun sawdaa’un” means “dressed in a black garment”). It is the name of chapter 74 of the Quran and it is used in the first verse of the chapter to describe Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah upon him.
