Mohannad is an Arabic name for boys that refers to a type of sword that used to be one of the highest quality swords available in ancient Arabia. The word literally means “India-made”, which referred to the fact that the sword was made with iron from India (it is unclear whether the sword itself was manufactured in India or Arabia).
