Hello.. I would like to know whether I can name my baby boy Nor Qayven. Kayven means 'World' in persian. Nor means 'Light'. Light of the World. Is it permissable because Keyvan comes from Persian?

The meaning of "light of the world" is acceptable and names coming from Persian are acceptable, therefore this is an acceptable name for a Muslim child. We haven't seen a word like Qayven/Kayven in Persian that means "world", the only similar word we know of is Kayvaan which means Saturn (the name of the planet), and in older Persian means "sky".
