Rand is a Persian and Kurdish name for boys and girls that means “clever”, “intelligent”, it can also refer to a type of tree from which incense is made.

Rand is pronounced [(RUN) + (D)ay]. It is not an Arabic name but Muslims can use it since it has a good meaning.
