Pazir is a Persian word that means “acceptable”, “fitting”. It is a name used for boys by Desi people and is also a common Turkish last name. It is often found as a suffix to another name, for example the Persian girl name Delpazir, which means “acceptable to the heart”, meaning beautiful and likeable.

Pazir is not an Arabic name but it is an acceptable name for Muslim children since it does not have a bad meaning. We have only seen it used as a first name for boys, but there is not specific reason why you shouldn’t use it for girls as well.
