Full Meaning of Masood

Masood is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “happy”, “blessed”, “successful”. Masood is derived from the S-AIN-D root which is used in many places in the Quran.

The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed. (Quran 11:105)
