Mahra name meaning

I haven't come across an Arabic/Islamic name similar to Mahra. The closest name I know of is the Farsi girl name Mehra, which comes from Mehr and means "compassionate", "kind", "caring". Mehra is pronounced [(ME)t + (H)ot] + [(RA)ndom] with emphasis on the second syllable.
