    Humaira was the nickname of our mother Aisha RA. The prophet Mohammed P.B.U.H called her this because her skin had a reddish complexion. Therefore, if the prophet (the best of creation) P.B.U.H would nickname his wife Humaira; it must be appropriate to use to call your daughter this blessed name.

    The prophet called his wife Aisha R.A Humaira because of the reddish colour of her cheeks. This is an appropriate name for a muslim girl because it is the nickname of one of the greatest women in Islam.
