Injila is an Arabic name for girls that is the feminine form of the word Injeel, which is the name of the book that was sent by God to Prophet Jesus, known as “the Gospels” in English. The word itself is from Greek and means “messenger”, therefore Injila means “female messenger”, “female message-bearer”.
