    In the light of Quran, there are several meanings extracted. The most basic is spreading branches. Moreover if you go in depth it means a fruitful tree in Jannah. Hope it helps sister. And there is mostly confusion in gender of this name, but it is mostly a girl’s name in East. This is Afnan here. 🙂
