Full Meaning of Heneia

Heneia is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “happy”, “delighted”. It is derived from the H-N-HAMZ root which is used in a number of places in the Quran:

“Eat and drink with happiness because of what you used to do.” (Quran 52:19)

[And all who are thus blest will be told:] “Eat and drink with good cheer in return for all [the good deeds] that you have sent ahead in days gone by!” (Quran 69:24)
