Full Meaning of Gemeille

Gemeille means beautiful. While it means both beauty in shape and beauty in behavior, the Quran uses it only to refer to beauty in behavior. It is mentioned six times in the Quran.

And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Prophet Ya`qub] said, “Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so a beautiful patience is my duty [it can also be translated as ‘and patience is beautiful’]. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe.” {12:18}

Prophet, say to your wives, ‘If your desire is for the present life and its finery, then come, I will make provision for you and release you in a beautiful way.’ {33:28}
