I was thinking about changing my name to Keyan Malik,
I converted to Islam a couple of years ago and I’m not sure if this is permissible, I don’t know my real father, my mom does but I’m not interested in taking over his name like: Keyan bin ..?.. He left my mom and I when before I was born or when I was a baby.

My full name is Matheus Lucacks Santana Araújo.

I was thinking about changing my first names and keep my family names like so:

Keyan abd Al-Malik Santana Araújo.

Is it permissible to simplify that to: Keyan Malik Santana Araújo?
