Name related to Allah names

Dear Sir,

i wanted to name my new born boy Ahad, but after announcing few colleague & family relatives told me that i cannot name him Ahad because it is Allah name. I told them that Allah name is actually “Al Ahad” but still they all are not accepting it. Please guide me in it or else could you suggest any Quranic name. My son birth was on 16th Oct 2019.
