liyana Vs liana

U have listed liana as alternate spellings for liyana.How can Liyana ( li-ya-na) and liana ( li-aa-na) be used for same they r pronounced so differently ? Please explain if li-ya-na is correct or can i use li-aa-na as well to same arabic spelling and meaning ?
