    some people say the name jaza does not mean blessing but rather it means reward and can be considered positive or negative – please advise

    I want to use this name for my daughter

    Alaikumassalam wa rahmatullah,

    Yes, Jaza can be either a reward or a punishment, it means “rightful recompense”. This doesn’t make it a bad name.
