Fataah
A Quranic Name for Boys
Fataah is variant of Fattah and has the exact same meaning and pronunciation (see below for full meaning). You can use either Fataah or Fattah, both are correct and acceptable. If you like this variant more and you'd like to pronounce it the way it is spelled (different than the original name), this is perfectly acceptable. For more details please see the main entry at: Fattah.
Full Meaning of Fataah
Fataah is an Arabic name for boys that means “conqueror”, “victor”. It is also one of the names of God meaning “the one who opens the doors of mercy to His servants”. Even though this is a name of God, it is acceptable to use for humans (similar to Ali, which is also a name of God), since its meaning is not specific to God.
