Full Meaning of Eman

Eman is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls that means “safety”, “peace of mind”, “sureness”, “trust”. It is derived from the A-M-N (safety, trust, wish, faith) root which is used in many places in the Quran.

As for those who have attained to faith in Allah and hold fast to Him, He will admit them to His mercy and His grace; He will guide them towards Him on a straight path. (Quran 4:175)

Those to whom hypocrites said, “Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.” But it increased them in faith, and they said, “Sufficient for us is Allah , and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.” (Quran 3:173)
