We have Named our daughter Nuha Mehdi but now some people object it by saying that nuha means "depicting the martyrdom of the Holy Imams " I clearly understand noha meanings that I trd to xplain tht nuha means " intelligent " same but they say noha - nuha same thing. I need advise

Nuha means "intelligent" as used in the Quran in verse 20:54, you can check any book of tafseer (interpretation of the Quran) or any Quran translation and you will see this meaning. Noha is simply another spelling of Nuha.
If the people you mentioned can provide references to a book that can back up what they say, then we will look into it.

My nice is named Nuha which means Intelligent as you say, but the name Nooha has got no meaning I was told.

Noha is a muslim baby name which means intellegent or wisdom in Arabic,but if it is interpretted in the light of Shia religion they view it as a lamment about the tragedy of Hussain(RA) in the battle of Karbalah
