Can one name a child Quran?

Naming a child Quran is disliked by most scholars and the respected scholar Ibn al-Qayyim says it is prohibited. For this reason it is best to avoid using this name.

However, if someone's name is already Quran, there is no need to change it (unless the person wants to).
