I would to name my son a name from the quran, but truly am in love with the name farhan and wondering if it is in the quran or not? please help....

Farhan means "happy" and it is derived from the root al-Farah (happiness) which is mentioned in various places in the Quran, such as 30:4 and 3:170, therefore it is a Quranic word, and since it has a good meaning inshAllah you can use it for your son.
