Rustam is a Persian name for boys. It is the name of an ancient Persian hero who was known as the strongest person in Iran. His name means “strongly-built”. Rustam is not an Arabic name but Muslims can use it since it doesn’t have a bad meaning.

Rustam is pronounced [(RU)in + (S)weet] + [(TUM)my]. It may also be spelled as Rostam.
