Full Meaning of Taahir

Taahir is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “pure”, “free from dirt”, “clean”, “free from sin”. It is derived from the T16-H26-R root which is used in many places in the Quran.

Believers, when you come to consult the Messenger privately, give something in charity beforehand. That is best for you and most conducive to purity. (Quran 58:12)
