Seyraaje is a direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “lamp”, “light”, “cresset”, any device the produces light. The Quran uses the word Seyraaje to describe Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and also uses it to refer to the sun. Seyraaje is used four times in the Quran.
O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And one who invites to Allah , by His permission, and an illuminating lamp. (Quran 33:45-46)
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. (Quran 25:61)
