Full Meaning of Nurelein
Nurelein is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “bringer of happiness”, “remover of sadness”, “one who brings calm and serenity to the heart”. It is formed from Nur (“light”) and al-Ain (“the eyes”), the literal meaning of which is “light of the eye”, i.e. “brilliant to behold”. Both Nur and Ain are direct Quranic words.
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. (Quran 61:8)
