Full Meaning of Nehreyn

Nehreyn is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls that means “river”. It is a Turkish word derived from Nahr, which is the Arabic word for “river” and is used in many places in the Quran.

Each of the two gardens yielded its produce and never failed therein in any way, for We had caused a river to gush forth in the midst of each of them. (Quran 18:33)
