Kindly tell me the origins, meanings and the pronunciations of the names shadha and Rafhan.

Answer

This is an official answer by QuranicNames.com Staff

Shadha, also written Shaza, is a non-Quranic name for girls that means "unique", "unlike anyone else". It is pronounced as [(SHA)rp] + [(Z)oom + r(U)n]. It is written as شاذة in Arabic.

Rafhan, pronounced [(RU)n + (F)un] + [(HA)rd + (N)ew], is an Arabic name for boys and girls that means "one who lives comfortably", "prospering". It is not Quranic but since the meaning is good, Muslims can use it. It has a girl-only version as well, Rafhana, with the ending pronounced as r(U)n.
