Full Meaning of Hashsham
Hashsham is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “breaker”, “brave destroyer of evil”. It is a stronger form of the name Hashim. It is derived from the H26-SH-M root which is used in Surat al-Kahf in the Quran:
And set forth to them parable of the life of this world: like water which We send down from the cloud so the herbage of the earth becomes tangled on account of it, then it becomes dry, broken into pieces which the winds scatter; and Allah is the holder of power over all things. (Quran 18:45)
