I found on some muslim baby name apps that Ashar is arabic for “wise, prudent, one who has wisdom”. Is this a quranic name?
I would like to be enlightened about the name ‘Ashar’ and ‘Maheer’ if they are islamic names and have strong meaning from Quran.
Ashar in urdu dictionary means one who likes poetry or the one with long hair. In arabic it means fierce like a lion.
