We are looking at unique but meaningful baby boy names. I am considering Tawhid/Tawheed. I understand it represents such a powerful meaning and not sure if its allowed to be kept as a name. We keeping it with the only intention that this boy lives by his name, believes and fully submits to Tawhid and dies by that name in his heart. In sha Allah!! Please can I have some more information on it. JazakAllah Khayr

Tawheed (“belief in God’s oneness”) is an acceptable name since it refers to a good concept, just like Ikhlas (“sincerity”), Iman (“faith in God”) and Islam (“submission to God”).
