    Jalaluddin:
‎جلال Jalal – translates as “brilliance, greatness, superiority, renown, majesty (variant of King)” in Arabic, Urdu, and Farci
‎الدین محمد ed-Din (written al-Din) means “the religion” or “the faith”. It is used as a suffix of ending of indirect Quranic names for a boy.
‎الدین محمد – Jalal-ed-Din, therefore, is an indirect Quranic boy’s name, composed of two names mentioned in the Holy Qur’an.
‎جلال‌الدین محمد رومی Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī is the name of a famous Afghani poet, whose family moved to Rum, giving him the name RUMI.
Jalal-ed-Din would be an auspicious name for a boy!
