Full Meaning of Saaraa

Saaraa is an indirect Quranic name for girls. It is a common version of the name Saaraah. Saaraa is not standard Arabic but since many people like how it sounds (with two long “a” sounds instead of one long and one short), they use it instead of Saaraah.

Since Saaraa is derived from Saaraah, and since Saaraah is derived from the S-R-R Quranic root, both Saaraa and Saaraah can be considered Quranic names.

Saaraa in Persian means “pure”, “untainted”, and they use it as the name of Prophet Ibrahim’s wife instead of the standard Arabic Saaraah.
