Assalamualaikum, Is it necessary to put Abdul before Mohammed Wasi (my sons Name). Can you give the meaning of Haniya and does it spell correct please advice.

Alaikumassalam wa rahmatullah,

No it is not necessary to put Abdul before Mohammed Wasi, and in fact you must not do that because "Abdul" should only be used before the names of Allah, and "Mohammed" is not a name of Allah.

haniya meaning is joy &happieness..and it is the meaning of the desire from the heart of parents…so can u advice what should be added after thr name haniya
