Full Meaning of Mergineh

Mergineh is an indirect Quranic name for girls that means “little pearl”, and can also refer to precious coral. Mergineh is a non-standard modification of the name Marjana, which itself is the singular form of the name Marjaan.

Out of these two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small. (Quran 55:22)
