Mekeine is a name for girls that means deep-rooted, firmly established, honored and powerful. It is used four times in the Quran, such as in Surat Yusuf:

The king said, ‘Bring him to me. I will take him for my special service.’ And when he had spoken to him, he said, ‘From now on you will dwell with us, honored and trusted.’ (Quran 12:54)
