Full Meaning of Meesam

Meesam is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls that means beautiful, cute, attractive. It is derived from the W-S-M root, which means mark, brand, symbol and it literally means “symbol/mark of beauty”.

Because he is a possessor of wealth and children, when Our verses are recited to him, he says, “Legends of the former peoples.” [For this] We shall brand him with indelible disgrace! (Quran 68:14-17)
