Wahab is an Arabic word that means “giver”, “bestower”, it is a direct Quranic name and you can use it as a name. Wahab is also one of the names of Allah, and since it is a word that can be used to describe both humans and Allah, it can be used as a name for humans.

The day before yesterday my brother becomes father and he wants to name his son wahab.
