AsalaamAlaikum, I wanted to know the meaning of Madeeha? JazakAllahu khayr

Answer

This is an official answer by QuranicNames.com Staff

Madeeha is an Arabic name for girls that means "a woman who is worthy of praise", whose character and deeds deserve praise and commendation. Madeeha is derived from the M-D-H6 root which is not used in the Quran, for this reason it is not a Quranic name, but Muslims can use this name since it has a good meaning.

Madeeha is pronounced [(MU)st] + [(DEE)d] + [(HU)mble] with emphasis on the second syllable. It is written as مَدِيْحَة in Arabic and can also be written as Madihah, Madeehah, Madiha, Mediha, Medihe, Medeehah, Madyha, Madeiha in English, among others.
