What is the meaning of Afareen?

Afareen is a Persian name for girls, sometimes also used for boys, that means "to praise", "to give thanks", "to congratulate", it is also an expression of praise and gratitude similar to the English "bravo!". Afareen also has ancient Persian meanings of "humble prayer to Allah" and "to create". Afareen is not an Islamic name but Muslims can use it since it has a good meaning.
