My Mother name is Amelia, she is a Muslim and from a Muslim family. She is extremely beautiful and her vartues know no limits.

My daughter’s name is Amelia, from it origin and meaning there is no harm to call your baby Amelia, Rasulillah has advised Ummah to avoid calling their children names with no good meaning since bad names affect our children directly.

All the sahabas were none Muslim before they accepted Islam Alhamdolilah. The Prophet Muhammed pbuh didn’t tell them to change their names, this means they had non Islamic names , but it does not matter as long as it has a nice meaning.

As if you guys might know hazrat Omer never changed his name, so there is no such thing as Islamic name it might be Arabic name, Indian name or English. I also named my daughter Amelia and it’s a beautiful name
