As Salam alaykum, I really like the name Amelia and have read that it comes from the route Ameen, Amin, like the name Aminah meaning trustworthy, faithful, safe. As my name is Aminah I thought it would be fitting to name my first daughter with a name that has a similar meaning. Does anyone if it’s a authentic Arabic name?

Thing in Arabic doesn’t make it Arabic or Islamic
After all they spell McDonald’s in Arabic in Saudi
