Full Meaning of Deyn

Deyn is a direct Quranic name for boys that means “religion’, “creed”, “credo”, “way of life”. It is used more than 100 times in the Quran.

They were commanded only to worship God, offering Him sincere devotion, to be sincere in their faith, to pray regularly; and to give alms, for that is the right religion. (Quran 98:5)

Do they seek a religion other than the religion of God, when everything in the heavens and the earth has submitted to Him, willingly or unwillingly? To Him they shall all return. (Quran 3:83)
