Salam I want to name my son " Barik ". The word is from darood e Ibrahemi (Allahuma barik...). I want to know its exact meaning and is it ok to use it as a name ?

This is an official answer by QuranicNames.com Staff

Barik means "bless him", it is a command verb (fi`l amr in Arabic). We haven't seen any names like this, but you can use it since it doesn't have a bad meaning.
