Answer

This is an official answer by QuranicNames.com Staff

For a full list of all surats of the Quran with their numbers please see this page.

Some surah names can be used as baby names, such as Yasin as you mentioned, and many surats have names of the Prophets, such as Ibraheem, Nuh, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah upon them), which can be used as baby names. Not all surah names are acceptable to use as baby names, for example at-Talaaq (Divorce), al-Anfal (remains of a battle), al-An'aam (Cattle), al-Baqarah (the Cow), etc. For this reason each surah should be considered individually, some of them are acceptable baby names and some of them are not. Mudassir is an acceptable name since it means "clothed". We have now added it to our list and you can read about it here: Mudassir

As for Rehaan and Ayaan, please type them in the search box to find our answers on them.
