A Quranic Name for Boys

Aedam is variant of Adam and has the exact same meaning and pronunciation (see below for full meaning). You can use either Aedam or Adam, both are correct and acceptable. Full Meaning of Aedam

Aedam is a direct Quranic name for boys that refers to the first human that God created, who was also the first prophet, peace be upon him. Aedam according to some linguists is related to Adeem, which means “dust”, since God created Aedam from dust, or from Admah, which means “surface of the Earth”. The word Aedam mentioned 20 times in the Quran.

BEHOLD, God raised Aedam, and Noah, and the House of Abraham, and the House of `Imran above all mankind. (Quran 3:33)

Verily, in the sight of God, the nature of Jesus is as the nature of Aedam, whom He created out of dust and then said unto him, “Be” – and he is. (Quran 3:59)
